Moldova-Themed Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Hints at Another Rare Regional Edition
Porsche keeps building region-focused 911 specials, and Eastern Europe now appears next in line. After projects tied to Romania, Latin America, and Kuwait, attention shifts toward Moldova through a new limited-edition 911 GT3 Touring teased by Porsche Center Moldova.
The company shared several preview images on Instagram. Most details still sit under covers, though a few styling elements already stand out. One image shows an “M” graphic integrated into the front intake area. The same letter appears elsewhere, too, including on center-lock wheel caps and the custom indoor cover wrapped around the car. A stitched insert runs along the side section of the cover as well.
According to the visible symbols, the letter references Moldova’s “Tree of Life” logo. The artwork blends roses, basil, screws, traditional clothing patterns, subtle religious motifs, red and white wine glasses, plus local fruits. Even the forged magnesium wheels continue the theme. Porsche finished them in a burgundy shade linked to Moldova’s wine industry. From certain angles, the tone sits close to Rubystar Porsche paintwork. Close, not identical.
Porsche has already explored this formula several times. Last year brought the “Tribute to Transfagarasan,” a low-profile 911 Carrera 4 GTS celebrating Romania’s famous mountain road, described by Top Gear as “The Greatest Road in the World.” The route turned 50 years old in 2025. Latin America later received the jungle-inspired “Ocelot” version of the 911 GT3 Touring. Then came the Kuwait-exclusive 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition.
This newest project appears to be based on the 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring. The body seems painted in Viola Purple Metallic through Porsche’s paint-to-sample program, unless another custom purple shade hides underneath the studio lighting. The visual combination works unusually well with the burgundy wheels. Small touches carry most of the impact here.
Pricing has already entered supercar territory. A 2026 911 GT3 Touring finished in Viola Purple Metallic and fitted with forged magnesium wheels carries a €291,000 price tag, equal to roughly $338,800 with tax included. Porsche Center Moldova hinted online that the vehicle might end up as a one-off. If true, auction bidders would likely line up quickly.
Some estimates push the number closer to €500,000. Still, Porsche has not officially revealed the full story yet, so firm conclusions feel premature. The unveiling should happen soon, and the teaser campaign already did enough to get people talking.
