5 marques added to our Exclusive Chinese Brands Guide
Even though a consolidation of the Chinese market has been predicted for many years, with the number of marques present supposedly dropping sharply, the contrary is currently happening. Five new brands have been added to our exclusive Chinese Brands Guide.
Huawei has spawn two new marques: a collaboration with Dongfeng for Epicland (Yijing in Mandarin) and a collaboration with GAC for Aistaland (Qijing). Dreame is a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners that decided to enter the auto manufacturing world last year, its first model being the Nebula Next 01X equipped with a rocket booster and reaching 100 km/h in 0.9 seconds… Linghui is a brand by BYD focused on the taxi and rid-hailing markets, and Aiqar is an export markets brand by Chery selling rebadged Chery and iCar models.
