Photos: Bald eagles and bird watchers flock to South St. Paul
Dozens of bald eagles were seen roosting along the river opposite from Kaposia Park in South St. Paul on Saturday.
President Joe Biden on Tuesday signed legislation into law that officially made the bald eagle the national bird. The effort was spearheaded by a benefactor of the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minn., as well as the state’s congressional delegation.
Eagle watchers came out to the park for a public viewing and education session hosted by experts from the National Eagle Center on Saturday afternoon.
