Vikings receiver Jordan Addison pleads not guilty to DUI charges
Vikings receiver Jordan Addison has pleaded not guilty to a pair of misdemeanors DUI charges, according to court records, which stem from his July 12 arrest in Los Angeles. He has a pretrial conference hearing scheduled for next month.
This is the next step in the legal proceedings for Addison, 22, after he was formally charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher. He was arrested when police found him asleep behind the wheel of a Rolls Royce with the vehicle blocking lanes of traffic near Los Angeles International Airport.
Though he could be suspended by the NFL for his actions, any sort of punishment for Addison isn’t likely to come until next season at this point based on the timing of everything. He has 36 catches for 575 yards and four touchdowns for the Vikings this season.
