2027 Ford Super Duty Proud to Honor Package Brings Patriotic Style to Ford’s Heavy Duty Workhorse
Ford is giving its Super Duty lineup a more patriotic edge for 2027 with the new Proud to Honor package, a limited edition Ford Custom Garage offering that turns the brand’s heavy duty truck into a rolling tribute to American service members and their families. Built around bold red, white, and blue flag-inspired graphics, dark exterior details, and black forged aluminum wheels, the package feels right at home on a truck that already represents long days, hard work, and serious capability.
The Proud to Honor package will be offered on select 2027 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty models, including XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims. Buyers will need to start with a black Super Duty and add the Tremor package, while XLT and Lariat models also require the Black Appearance package. Platinum models can be equipped with the Proud to Honor treatment, but not when fitted with the Platinum Plus package. In other words, this is not a simple sticker pack slapped onto any truck on the lot. Ford has created a very specific look, and the black paint helps those patriotic side graphics stand out in a big way.
Beyond the visual impact, there is a charitable element baked into the package. Ford says a portion of Proud to Honor package sales will support Blue Star Families, an organization focused on helping military families, spouses, children, veterans, and active service members deal with the challenges that come with deployment and military life. Ford has not yet announced pricing for the package, nor has it said exactly how much from each sale will be donated. The company also has not confirmed how many packages will be built, only that this will be a limited edition offering.
One of the more interesting hardware touches is the wheel package, especially for dual rear wheel Super Duty models. Ford is adding black forged aluminum wheels to the Proud to Honor package, including what is said to be the first availability of black forged 19.5-inch outer wheels on Super Duty dually models. The rear inner wheels remain steel, but the visible black forged wheels give the truck a tougher, more cohesive look than the polished or painted setups typically seen on heavy duty configurations. Paired with the flag-inspired graphics and dark trim, the result is bold without feeling overly complicated.
Ordering is already open for the 2027 Ford F-250 Super Duty Proud to Honor package, while F-350 and F-450 availability is expected later this summer. Dealers can source the package through Ford Custom Garage, and although installation and wheel fitment will add extra cost on top of the truck and package price, Ford says the setup can be dealer-installed and includes a supplemental three-year, 36,000-mile warranty without voiding the standard new vehicle warranty. For Super Duty buyers who want capability with a strong visual statement and a cause behind it, the Proud to Honor package looks like one of Ford’s most meaningful appearance upgrades yet.
