ivic

According to data by local association PAMA, sales of new locally produced light vehicles in Pakistan soar 24.5% year-on-year in February to 12,084. This means the year-to-date volume is up 43.75 to 29,094. Note not all manufacturers present in Pakistan are members of PAMA such as Kia, Changan and MG notably and therefore don’t appear in these statistics. Suzuki (+9.1%) and Toyota (+13.7%) both trail the market but keep the lead of the brands charts with 44.1% and 19.2% share respectively. In contrast Honda (+35.4%) and Hyundai (+34.9%) post solid gains, but not as big as Sazgar Haval (+115.5%) and JAC (+75.4%). Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (+5.6%) of course remains in pole position with 29.5% share ahead of the Honda Civic estimated at 8.8% and the Sazgar Haval H6 at 7.3%.
