Council appoints election judges
The Chanhassen City Council on July 12 appointed election judges and established their pay.
The list of people who will serve was compiled by the city after consulting with local political parties, considering those who have served in the past, and those who have expressed interest.
Head judges will be paid $10 per hour; assistant head judges $9 per hour; judges $8 per hour; and a Chanhassen woman named Joanne Meuwissen $12 per hour.
