Loons linked to attacker Kelvin Yeboah
Minnesota United has been linked to Kelvin Yeboah as a potential singing in the summer transfer window, the Pioneer Press confirmed Monday.
Yeboah, 24, has scored four goals in 441 minutes for Standard Liege in the Belgium Pro League A in 2024, according to FBref.com. He joined Genoa in Italy’s Serie A in 2022 and has gone on a couple of loans with Augsburg in Germany and Montpellier in France before Liege. Yeboah was born in Ghana and played for Italy youth national teams.
The Loons, which ended a six-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw with Houston on Saturday, are in the market for multiple new players to reinforce the team over the next month. The summer transfer window opens Thursday and closes Aug. 14.
The MNUFC ties to Yeboah were apparently first reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
