2024 BMW X6 is nothing short of stunning

As the Luxury Midsize Coupe continues to gain popularity everyday in the consumer market, BMW is easily the leader of the pack with their X6. In Grasso’s Garage this week, the BMW X6 xDrive40i, wrapped in Aventurin Red Metallic; a fiery red/orange metallic display of beauty, in my eyes that is.

Powered by an ultra-quiet, 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine, paired with a 48V eBoost mild hybrid system, this combination produced 375 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. With an 8-speed sport automatic transmission, the X6 delivered well to both the driver for endless get up and go, but also for its passengers, as the quiet ride of the X6 offered limited road noise and excellent riding comfort.

Our week-long tester included some nice exterior and interior upgrades. We noticed the SUV/Coupe style body, while riding on upgraded 22-inch M-sport wheels included the M-Sport Package Pro, Climate Comfort Package, Executive Package, Parking Assistance Package, Driving Assistance Pro Package and M-Sport Professional Package; these combined for $9,350 and included, Illuminated Kidney Grille, parking safety features, remote start, LED lights with cornering, Harman Kardon surround sound, front and rear heated seats with heated armrests, and an array of additional features.

In Grasso’s Garage, BMW always has a place. The upscale-luxury brand always strives to ensure both comfort and luxury are met, while confirming the usability and enjoyment is designed around the driver. While confirming this is very enjoyable to drive, the SUV/Coupe style like the X6 takes some getting used too. I was not a fan at first as the look brings a lot of futuristic ideas to mind, but once I drove it and got familiar with it, I was persuaded and impressed. And for a BMW SUV, the base price tag is very realistic for what is included in the standard version. Not to mention, 3-years maintenance included in your purchase as well as some nice warranty timeframes and coverages. Similar to our recently tested iX M60 and the EV capabilities of the $100K base price tag, the X6 provides similar space, a unique shape and all the bells and whistles any real driver could ask for. Uncle Dave, are you enjoying your X6 M; because it is clear why you went that route and upgraded from your Lexus.
