Throwback Thursday
The streets of Boston have seen a lot of history — from the American Revolution to the fight for civil rights. Columbus Avenue was the scene in this April 25, 1965 photo in which civil rights marchers, led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., walked to the Boston Common, where he addressed a crowd. Dr. King came to the city to lead the demonstration protesting segregation in schools, jobs and housing. (AP Photo)
