3 Boston Police officers injured during City Hall arrest
Three Boston Police officers were injured in an incident that began at City Hall this morning and continued at the nearby police station this morning.
Two of the police officers were injured during an arrest at 9:42 a.m. inside City Hall, according to BPD spokesman Sgt. Det. John Boyle. A third officer was injured at the booking desk by the same suspect when he was brought to the Government Center police station.
One adult male is under arrest as the suspect in the attacks that left the officers injured, Boyle said.
All three of the officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Boyle said, though one of them was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
