Lamborghini has never treated the SV badge as just another trim level, and the new 2027 Lamborghini Revuelto SV keeps that tradition alive. Short for Super Veloce, the designation has been reserved for some of the most focused V-12 machines to leave Sant’Agata Bolognese, stretching from the Miura SV through the Murciélago SV and Aventador SV. Now the badge returns on Lamborghini’s electrified flagship, taking an already outrageous supercar and sharpening practically every part of its performance formula.

The standard Revuelto is hardly lacking motivation, but Lamborghini has found room for more. Its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12, three electric motors, and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission now combine for 1,050 horsepower and 1,051 lb-ft of torque. Much of the additional output comes from a larger battery pack, which grows from 3.8 kWh in the regular Revuelto to roughly 7 kWh in the SV. The result is the most powerful production Lamborghini yet, with the hybrid hardware working less like an efficiency exercise and more like another weapon in the car’s performance arsenal.

Lamborghini estimates the Revuelto SV will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds, reach 124 mph in just 6.7 seconds, and continue beyond 214 mph. Those numbers already put it deep into hypercar territory, although Lamborghini’s factory acceleration estimates have sometimes proven conservative once independent testing begins. The regular Revuelto has already demonstrated how violently this hybrid V-12 platform can launch, so the more powerful SV should have no trouble delivering the kind of acceleration that makes even seasoned supercar drivers pay attention.

The SV treatment is about much more than adding horsepower. Lamborghini has given the Revuelto a noticeably more serious aerodynamic package highlighted by a large fixed rear wing, lightweight center-lock wheels, a more aggressive front splitter, and extensive carbon-fiber components. Dark exterior details add to the sinister appearance, while prominent SV graphics make sure nobody mistakes it for the standard car. It looks more like something that escaped from a pit lane than a special edition designed primarily to sit under lights in a collector’s garage.

That aggressive bodywork also earns its keep. Lamborghini says the Revuelto SV generates 80 percent more downforce than the regular Revuelto, giving the car considerably more aerodynamic grip when speeds climb. A reshaped front section helps channel cooling air toward the brakes, improving brake cooling by a claimed 12 percent. Out back, the wing uses a combination of double-plane outer sections and a more aerodynamically efficient center portion, while a Gurney flap helps increase downforce and manage airflow around the cooling system. Lamborghini says the overall package improves downforce-to-drag efficiency by 60 percent and even generates 10 percent more downforce than the Aventador SVJ.

The chassis receives the same serious attention. Motorsport-inspired manually adjustable dampers give the SV a more purposeful setup for drivers interested in dialing the car in for track use, reinforcing the idea that this is not simply a louder and more visually dramatic Revuelto. The cabin follows that theme with carbon-fiber door panels, available carbon-fiber sport seats, heavier bolstering, and SV-specific graphics throughout the digital displays. Lamborghini still allows owners to personalize the car extensively, including numerous contrasting leather choices, so the interior does not completely abandon the brand’s luxury side in pursuit of faster lap times.

What makes the 2027 Lamborghini Revuelto SV especially interesting is how closely it follows the philosophy of Lamborghini’s greatest Super Veloce models despite the enormous technological changes happening underneath. There is now a battery, electric torque vectoring, three motors, and layers of sophisticated electronics working alongside the V-12, yet the basic mission remains wonderfully familiar: reduce compromises, increase performance, add aerodynamic aggression, and make Lamborghini’s flagship feel even more alive. In an era when electrification could have softened the character of the company’s wildest cars, the Revuelto SV appears determined to prove that hybrid technology can make the raging bull even more ferocious.
