Public forum on immigration set for Feb. 20
The Senate District 56 DFL will hold a public forum on immigration on Monday, Feb. 20 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The event, entitled “Not My President’s Day Public Forum on Immigration,” will take place at Open Circle Church, 2400 Highland Drive, Burnsville. Immigrants will share their stories and fears.
Other speakers include ACLU-MN Board Member Howard Bass, an attorney who will provide background on the law, and members of the group ISAIAH, will speak about the sanctuary movement.
