Pedestrian struck and critically injured Friday night in St. Paul

A man was critically injured when he was struck by a motorist late Friday afternoon in St. Paul.

The crash in the North End occurred after 5:30 p.m. at Front Avenue and Oxford Street, according to Nikki Muehlhausen, a St. Paul police spokesperson. The driver remained on the scene and has cooperated with the investigation.

The pedestrian was taken to Regions Hospital in critical condition.

No other details about the incident were immediately available late Friday night.
