BOYS BASKETBALL

In Tri-Valley League action, Jacob White buried a buzzer-beater to give Medway a 58-56 win over Dover-Sherborn.

Dalton Kinnon put up 27 points to guide Mystic Valley (2-0) in a 63-51 nonleague win over Pioneer Charter. … Senior guard Ido Geffen finished with 24 points to pace his squad, as Wayland knocked off Diman, 59-40.

Caden Sullivan finished with a team-high 27 points, helping to propel Franklin during a 64-52 victory over Oliver Ames. … Matt Greenspoon drained the winning three-pointer to finish with 16 points and lift Stoughton (1-0) to a 52-51 win over Sharon.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Kathleen Murphy (16 points), Ally Johnson (15 points) and Sarah Michel reached double figures in scoring for Blue Hills in a 49-33 Mayflower Athletic Conference win over Norfolk Aggie.

Muji Vader recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 steals, while Lily Buono chipped in with 14 points as Minuteman defeated Northeast 49-14 in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.

Ava Mennella scored 17 points, and Rowan Murphy added 12 points as Greater Lowell (1-0) rolled to a 53-33 nonleague win over Rockport. … Davina Makumbi tallied 12 points in her first varsity start, and Nora Simpson finished with 12 points and eight rebounds as Arlington Catholic (1-0) routed Lowell Catholic, 62-12.

In the Hockomock League, Kailey Sullivan turned in a 24-point performance, while Ava Hill added a double-double (12 points, 13 rebounds) as Foxboro cruised to a 61-34 victory over Taunton. … Avery Gamble erupted for 26 points, as Oliver Ames held on for a 60-53 win over rival Franklin. …Senior captain Leah McCarty registered a double-double (22 points, 18 rebounds) to power Stoughton to a 56-39 win over Sharon.

BOYS HOCKEY

Sam Mayhew and Logan Poulin netted two goals each as Nauset cruised to a 7-0 nonleague win over Triton.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Kelsey McPherson potted four goals to power Hopkinton/Dover-Sherborn to a 6-2 Tri-Valley League victory over Medway/Ashland.

Junie McCabe scored twice for Winchester in a 2-1 nonleague win over Longmeadow.

BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING

Miles Schiefer set the pace winning both of his individual events (200 individual medley, 100 backstroke) as Newton North defeated Newton South, 60-39, in a nonleague contest.
