2 men arrested for fatal Grove Hall shooting
Two men were arrested for a late-night shooting Monday that left another man dead in the Grove Hall area of Dorchester.
Boston police officers responded to the 100-block of Devon St. shortly before 10:30 p.m. after the ShotSpotter system alerted to the sound of gunshots in the area. A man suffering gunshot wounds was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not identify the man in a Tuesday statement.
After a short investigation, police found two guns along the “flight path” of the suspected shooters. Police arrested Darius Powell, 25, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and Daiquan Miller, 25, of Dorchester, for the shooting.
Both men were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device.
