Judge Elizabeth Bentley’s investiture to the MN Court of Appeals

Judge Elizabeth Bentley’s investiture to the Minnesota Court of Appeals was held on Tuesday at O’Shaughnessy in St. Paul.

Speakers at the investiture included U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor — Bentley was once her law clerk.

In April, Gov. Tim Walz appointed Bentley to succeed Theodora Gaitas, who was elevated to the Minnesota Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, other guests included Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Natalie Hudson, U.S. Sen Amy Klobuchar and Bentley’s parents, husband and children.
