What else is going on

Say it isn’t so. Poet Danny Klecko, the 651 guy himself (referring to St. Paul’s area code) has left Klecko mansion on Summit Avenue, joining a new love in Minneapolis, which he refers to “Babylon.” Still, we assume his heart is still in the Capital City and he keeps his relationship with the New York Times, where his work has been published five times in the Metropolitan Diary feature. His most recent, “Float,” was read on-air by Toronto-based John Devenish on his Dinner Jazz show. Devenish occasionally picks up Metropolitan Diary pieces to read and this is the second time he’s chosen a Klecko poem. “Float” was also featured earlier this month in the Times daily newsletter.
