Source: Patriots sign free-agent wide receiver Mack Hollins to two-year deal

The Patriots added a wide receiver on the first unofficial day of free agency.

The Patriots signed wide receiver Mack Hollins to a two-year, $8.4 million contract worth up to $10.4 million, according to a source. Hollins, 31, played under Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels in 2022 with the Raiders. He’s also spent time with the Eagles, Dolphins, Falcons and Bills.

Last season, he caught 31 passes for 378 yards with five touchdowns with the Bills. He had a career-best season under McDaniels with the Raiders when he caught 57 passes for 690 yards with four touchdowns.

The veteran wide receiver, also a special teams contributor, has 162 career receptions for 2,069 yards with 15 touchdowns in his career. He joins Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker on the Patriots’ wide receiver depth chart.
