Cavaliers se despegan en la 2da mitad y vencen 109-94 a Knicks
CLEVELAND (AP) — Donovan Mitchell anotó 23 puntos, James Harden sumó 20 y los Cavaliers de Cleveland se despegaron en la segunda mitad para imponerse el martes 109-94 a los Knicks de Nueva York.
Jarrett Allen aportó 19 puntos y 10 rebotes por los Cavaliers, quienes ganaron por octava vez en nueve partidos.
Jalen Brunson terminó con 20 puntos y Mikal Bridges encestó 18 por los Knicks. Mitchell Robinson capturó 15 rebotes, a uno de su máximo de la temporada.
Nueva York acertó 35 de 86 tiros, y entre Bridges y Brunson se combinaron para 12 de 36. Los Knicks embocaron el 27% de sus triples (10 de 37).
Cleveland llegó al partido con la cuarta peor defensa de la liga ante tiros de 3 puntos.
Los Cavaliers y los Knicks tienen marca de 37-22 y están empatados en el tercer lugar de la Conferencia Este. Pero Nueva York tendría la ventaja en el criterio de desempate por enfrentamientos directos si los equipos terminan igualados al final de la temporada, tras ganar dos de tres duelos.
