Boston Police investigating off-duty officer shooting at Back Bay Chik-Fil-A
The Boston Police Department is investigating a shooting involving an off-duty police officer at a Back Bay Chik-Fil-A.
The BPD received multiple calls reporting a person shot at the Chik-Fil-A fast-food restaurant at 569 Boylston St. in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. The initial investigation indicates that an off-duty officer shot another man in the restaurant, according to a BPD spokesman.
There was no additional information immediately available on the shooting.
The 500-block of Boylston Street, where the restaurant is, is closed to public traffic. That block is between Dartmouth and Clarendon streets.
This is a developing story.
