Prior Lake student receives presidential award

A Hidden Oaks Middle Schooler has received a presidential gold medal.

Sanya Pirani of Prior Lake received a gold Presidential Volunteers Service Award. The award is given to those who volunteered for more than 100 hours.

The hours are recorded by accredited agencies.

The award was presented by Community Action Partnership President Joe Vaughan. Pirani has done and continues to do work for the local agency as well as global projects for children and families.
