64-year-old booked for DWI after crash
A 64-year-old Richfield, Minn., man was booked in Meeker County Jail on a fourth-degree DWI charge Saturday after crashing his car in a ditch, according to Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
Bruce Larson was driving a 1999 Buick LeSabre Limited west on Minnesota Highway 7 when he lost control of the vehicle at about 7:40 a.m. near the intersection of 590th Avenue in Cedar Mills Township. Larson drove into the ditch and became stuck after hitting a group of trees.
Larson was transported to Hutchinson Health for injuries, and later transported to Meeker County Jail.
Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Cosmos Rescue and Cosmos Ambulance responded to the scene.
