US Trade Deficit Rises to More Than $100 Billion

By Naveen Athrappully America’s trade deficit widened last month to more than $100 billion, with import growth outstripping the uptick in exports, according to data released by the government. The trade deficit for November is estimated to be $102.9 billion, up by 4.7 percent from $98.3 billion in October, according to a Dec. 27 statement from the U.S. Census Bureau. Imports totaled $279.
