ROUNDUP

BOYS BASKETBALL

Collin Waldron scored 11 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter as host Archbishop Williams knocked off BC High 69-64 in the final game of the BABC Holiday Classic. Bobby Louis added 13 points, while Jack Olindo hit a huge three down the stretch for the Bishops.

Julian Sustache led the way for the Eagles with 24 points.

Elsewhere in the BABC Classic, Yhan Medina scored 27 points and Shawn Perry added 20 as Quincy defeated Brockton 59-52. Malcolm McMorrow added 21 rebounds for the Presidents, while Cody Lambert poured in a team-high 14 for Brockton.

Jacob Marcone knocked down seven 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 27 points as LaSalle (RI) held off Brookline, 63-57. Alan Shi tallied 19 for Brookline, which cut a 57-40 deficit to one in the final minute.

Jeremiah Jacobs led a balanced attack with 16 points as Eagle Academy out of Brooklyn (NY) defeated Holland Tech 67-39. Yassine Amghar led the way for Burke with 13.

In the Triton Holiday Classic, Kordell Philemon scored 30 points while Tony Dean added 22 points and 15 rebounds as Stoneham (4-0) defeated Saugus, 77-66.

Freshmen Jake Lofstrom and Oliver Curley combined for 27 points as Silver Lake edged Pembroke 56-54 to win the Titan Classic.

Mason Mills scored 16 points as Xaverian defeated Needham 49-36 in a nonleague contest.

In the Commonwealth Christmas Classic semifinals, Carson Gretz and Cal Atherton each netted 22 points as Newburyport topped Lawrence 60-48.

In the Greater Lowell Christmas Tournament semifinals, Tzar Powell Aparicio collected 21 points, nine boards and five assists as Lowell took down Leominster in overtime 75-71.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Sophia McClendon scored 15 points and teammate Sarah Geller added 14 as Belmont defeated Cambridge 50-32 in the consolation game of the Legends Classic in Cambridge.

Chloe Fales scored 15 points and Mallory Santos added as Franklin defeated defending Maine champion Lawrence, 52-35.

Nora Simpson scored a career-high 22 points and Maddie Giesta scored the game winner at the buzzer as Arlington Catholic edged Billerica 46-45 at the Reading Holiday Tournament. … Molly Trahan led the way with 23 points as Reading defeated Newburyport, 43-37.

Olivia Roy scored 12 points and recorded six steals to lead Bridgewater-Raynham (4-0) to a 31-28 victory over Pentucket in the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic.

In the semifinal round of the Cohasset Holiday Hoopfest tournament, Addy Andrews recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks as Cohasset defeated Fontbonne Academy, 44-37.

Shannon LaMorticelli scored 16 points, including 5 in overtime to boost Bishop Feehan to a 64-62 victory over Londonderry (NH) in a nonleague matchup.

Reagan Widdop scored 11 points and Skye Cerow was named tournament MVP as Duxbury (5-0) defeated Sandwich 56-44 to claim the Sandwich Holiday Classic title.

In the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic, Kiera Lenihan dropped 24 points as Andover (3-1) rolled over Methuen 69-34.

Tournament MVP Divine Egbuta scored 16 points and teammate Keisha Perez added 17 as Lynn Classical (3-1) defeated Lynn English 56-45 to win the Walter Boverini Tournament.

BOYS HOCKEY

In the Palm Division Holiday Tournament, senior captain Jack Baker had a hat trick as Haverhill defeated Everett/Metheun 8-2.

Chris Ryan, Domenic Visocchi and Jack O’Hearn scored to give Whitman-Hanson a 3-1 win over Auburn to win the Dartmouth Holiday Tournament.

Brady Chenevert scored four goals as St. John’s (Shrewsbury) defeated Framingham 7-2 in a nonleague contest.
