Roxbury resident and dog displaced by fire
One person and a dog were displaced by a fire at a Roxbury home on Thursday.
Boston firefighters responded after noon to heavy smoke billowing from the third floor of a multi-family home on Beech Glen Street in Roxbury on the day after Christmas.
A department spokesperson said later in the afternoon that “companies were able to quickly get ahead of fire” and were clearing the scene by 2:19 p.m. There were no injuries reported.
