BOYS BASKETBALL

Ethan Elie led with 16 points as Braintree edged Bay State Conference opponent Needham 52-49. … Cole Fletcher scored 27 points as Milton took down Weymouth 75-53.

In nonleague play, Joshua Jenkins dropped 36 points as Dennis-Yarmouth won 80-63 over Holbrook. … Sophomore Krem Amparo collected 20 points and 21 boards and junior RJ Jimenez finished with 20 points and five assists as Latin Academy took down Roxbury Prep 64-42.

In the Greater Boston League, Shyheim Babb (16 points, 11  rebounds) and Rolky Brea Arias (14 points, 14 rebounds) each had double-doubles as Lynn Classical rolled to a 73-43 victory over Chelsea.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

In the Commonwealth Athletic Conference, sophomore Rowan Murphy had a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds as Greater Lowell (3-0) topped Lynn Tech 50-35.

In the Greater Boston League, Divine Egbuta tallied 18 points as Lynn Classical defeated Everett, 42-37.

Naya Annigeri finished with 19 points and seven steals while Abby Broderick added 18 points as Medfield defeated Dover-Sherborn 77-35 in Tri-Valley League action.

In the Catholic Central League, Hijjah Allen-Paisley netted 19 points and Tamia Darling put in 15 points as Cathedral (3-1)  rolled over Cardinal Spellman 72-13.

In Middlesex League action, Molly Trahan finished with 20 points to lead Reading (2-1) to a 40-38 victory over Belmont.
