The Moskvich 6 is a rebadged JAC Sehol A5 Plus

New car sales in Russia significantly slow their growth in November to just +11.1% to 121,884. That’s the weakest year-on-year uptick since March 2023 when the market was in decline. The year-to-date tally is up 54.1% to 1,447,841. Local behemoth Lada (+15.9%) outpaces its home market to an improved 31.1% share vs. 27.6% year-to-date. Haval (+7.1%) underperforms at #2 just as Chery (-2.2%), Geely (-3.8%) and Changan (-5.3%) are actually in negative. Belarusian carmaker Belgee (+1187%) repeats at a record #6 with an all time high 2.6% share. Below a freefalling Omoda (-30.7%), Moskvich (+37.2%) scores its first Top 10 finish of the year with new best ever ranking (#8), volume and share. Jetour (+52.2%) and Jaecoo (+103.4%) round out the Top 10 in spectacular fashion.

Over in the models charts, the Lada Granta (-1.3%) disappoints with a year-on-year decline but still easily ranks #1 with 13.1% share. The Lada Vesta (+35.7%) reclaims the #2 spot it holds year-to-date off the Haval Jolion (-22.5%) in difficulty. The Lada Largus (+3342.8%) is reborn and scores its first Top 10 finish since September 2022, and even reaches an all-time high ranking at #4, also hit in May 2014, June 2014, October 2014 and September 2015. The Haval M6 (+34.5%), Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (+28.7%) an Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (+13.1%) also beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10.
