Emma Penniman fanned 13, while Kyla Story was 4-for-4 and Mallory Johnson had a two-run homer as Triton (4-3) beat Pentucket 11-1 in the Cape Ann League. … Abby Aiello, Anna Gardner, and Celia Mann each smashed homers in an offensive eruption, bolstering Manchester-Essex (4-4) in a 17-11 win over Rockport.

Christina Magnett (2-for-3) scored both runs and Eva Zuber hit the go-ahead triple in the fifth inning, backing Lauren Bernaiche (complete game, 10 strikeouts) as Apponequet (6-3) edged Dighton-Rehoboth 2-1 in South Coast Conference play. … Cassidy Perrault went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for West Bridgewater in a 5-3 win over Bourne. … Breanna Fontes homered and doubled, and Meg Pereira pitched a complete game three-hitter while going 2-for-3 at the plate also as Case cruised to a 16-1 win over Fairhaven. … Genesis Nunez went 3-for-4 with a two-run single and scored a run as Greater New Bedford (5-3) pulled away with a five-run seventh inning to beat Seekonk, 6-1.

Ally Straccia, Shayna Smith and Frankie Reed homered as Revere defeated Northeast 16-3 in a nonleague contest. … Bella Abrams, Emily McNaught and Liz McNaught had two hits apiece for East Bridgewater in a 9-1 win over Southeastern. … Jill Ondrick sat down 17 batters over nine innings, adding to her home run and two RBI as Archbishop Williams downed Braintree, 5-3.

Crystyliah Covel went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored, while Taylor Marino finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and struck out three over five innings in the circle as Oliver Ames defeated Sharon 17-2 in the Hockomock League. Devon Morris went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Tigers.

Tessa Francis recorded 14 strikeouts over an abbreviated no-hitter in the circle and went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI at the plate as Marblehead rolled to a 13-0 Northeastern Conference win over Salem in five innings.

Shannon Macleod went 4-for-5 with five RBI and struck out seven, allowing four hits, four walks and two earned runs, while Claire Ferrara had five hits and an RBI as Notre Dame (Hingham) (4-1) defeated Fontbonne 15-6 in the Catholic Conference.

BOYS LACROSSE

Owen Kelly netted a hat trick for Plymouth North in a 6-2 nonleague win over Monomoy.

Greg Canning (five goals, assist) and Will Croom (two goals) provided most of the scoring, and Josh Do dished five assists as Rivers (6-3) defeated Groton 10-6 in the Independent School League.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Karina Bosco scored six goals, including the 200th of her career, and added two assists to lead Dighton-Rehoboth to a 17-5 South Coast Conference girls lacrosse victory over Somerset Berkley. … Taylor Pearson buried her fourth goal with seven seconds left to give Greater New Bedford a 9-8 win over Bourne.

Meghan Lesniak scored twice, pacing Greater Lowell in an 8-0 nonleague win over Assabet Valley.

Peyton Mathisen scored eight goals, and Andrea Fernandes had a hat trick as South Shore Voke (8-0) downed Bristol Aggie 19-5 in Mayflower Athletic Conference action.

Ava Nason (four goals), Vanessa Hall (three goals) and Ava Korisianos found the net for St. Mary’s (Lynn) (5-3) in an 8-4 Catholic Central League win over Archbishop Williams.

Elisabeth Delori (four goals), CJ Tremblay (two goals), Jillian Gillis and Ava Robitaille scored for Burlington in an 8-5 Middlesex League victory over Melrose.

BASEBALL

Josh Doney and Jacob Peterson combined on a three-hitter, while Isaiah Weston homered as St. Mary’s (Lynn) (8-0) defeated Arlington Catholic 9-0 in the Catholic Central League.

Matt Oates allowed no earned runs in six innings, while Gill Dolan led a balanced attack by going 3-for-4 with two extra-base hits and three RBI as Weymouth defeated Whitman-Hanson 11-1 in a nonleague contest. … Freshman Luke Joyce moved to 4-0 from the mound on the year with an 11-strikeout four-hitter, pairing with Sean Canavan (two-run home run) and Max King (3-for-4, RBI) to lead Braintree (9-1) in a 9-0 win over Hingham. … Liam Fitzmaurice gave up one hit and struck out four over seven innings of work, and Sean Davock went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead RBI double in the bottom of the sixth as Catholic Memorial (6-3) topped Milton, 4-1. … Jack Quigley doubled, homered and stole three bases, while RJ Thorp and Anthony Miele had two hits each and combined for five RBI as Silver Lake bested East Bridgewater, 9-3. … Cole Perkins struck out eight and allowed just one walk over five no-hit innings as Pingree (5-1) prevailed 10-0 over Nobles.

Zach Russo and Kyle Cummings combined for a no-hitter while Phil Lombardi had three RBI as Tewksbury (3-5, 2-4) beat Dracut, 8-3, in Merrimack Valley Conference action.

Jasen Thomas struck out seven and allowed no earned runs over seven innings pitched, while Connor Brown tripled and drove in a run for his first varsity hit as Cambridge (3-4) beat Newton South 5-1 in a Dual County League matchup.

Max Boehm fanned 14 in a complete game, and Tate Bannish and Sam Zalosh hit RBI singles in the sixth inning, boosting Wellesley (7-2) to a 2-1 Bay State Conference win over Needham.

Brayden Ramsey (two hits, four RBI), Matty Taylor (two hits, three RBI), Ty Creighton (two hits, two RBI) and Connor Finn (two hits, win on the mound) fueled Sandwich (5-2) to a 13-5 South Shore League win over Mashpee.

Jake Shoenberg (three innings pitched, five strikeouts) and Joey Tomacelli (two innings pitched, four strikeouts) threw a combined no-hitter to lead Holliston to a 15-2 Tri-Valley League win over Millis.

Jake Willard went 3-for-4 with two RBI at the plate and allowed two runs over five innings on the mound for Oliver Ames in a 7-2 Hockomock League victory over Sharon.

Levy Da Silva struck out seven over a complete-game shutout, while Grady Bishop drove in two runs and Cam Aguilar had three hits as St. Mark’s bested Lawrence Academy 8-0 in an Independent School League contest.

Matt Almeida got the win, and Dylan Silviera secured the save for Durfee in a 4-3 Southeast Conference victory over Dartmouth.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Monireach Kong had eight aces and a pair of kills as Innovation (6-3) swept Nashoba Tech 3-0 in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.

Obi Umeh notched 20 kills off Parth Pawar’s 42 assists, lifting Acton-Boxboro to a 3-2 Dual County League win over Wayland.

Danny Matuszek supplied 26 assists, and Chris Milfort had 15 kills and 17 digs as Durfee defeated Bellingham 3-0 in a nonleague matchup.

Tyrel Lout (54 assists), Ceazar Joseph (22 kills), Ayden Roum (14 kills) and Cody Fitzpatrick (24 kills) rose to the occasion for Lowell (8-1) in a 3-2 Merrimack Valley Conference win over Methuen.
