If the American web series received a renewal, a seventh season would make its debut in the first quarter of 2025. Since the sixth season was affected by the strike, it is expected that the seventh season will make its premiere. However, keeping the release dates under wraps is not weird since the series is still running on ABC and will end on May 1, 2024.

However, ahead of the upcoming Seventh season, the executive producer, Bruce Helford, shared important updates. He disappointed the fans by saying that “it’s a possibility” that the series could end with The Conners Season 6. Helford, in an interview with The Timeline, said

We feel that [next season] is possibly going to be the last season of The Conners. I would not [say that] definitively because the numbers were so good this season, and we’ve all had a great time… but it’s a possibility.

However, another executive producer, Dave Caplan, cleared the speculations about the Conners coming to an end. In an interview with TVline, the producer hinted at The Conners Season 7 possibility and said,

When we feel like we’re not telling relatable, interesting, novel stories anymore, we’ll pull the plug.

the journeys that these characters are on are inspiring us to go places we haven’t. The show continues to feel fresh and interesting, so nobody is all that anxious for it to end.
