ROUNDUP

BASEBALL

Liam Kinneen was dominant from the mound, fanning 15 batters in a six-inning no-hitter to power Boston College past St. John’s Prep, 10-0, in Catholic Conference action.

In the Bay State Conference, Hayden Regan went 4-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI as Braintree (7-1) defeated Needham 11-5.

Tyler Kropis struck out 17 while going the distance as Seekonk blanked Bourne 4-0 in South Coast Conference action.

In Patriot League play, Owen Kennedy allowed just three hits and no earned runs over six innings, helping Hanover to a 4-2 win over Whitman-Hanson.

Chris Jaillet (seven strikeouts) allowed just three hits from the mound, pairing with an RBI single to power Andover over North Andover, 3-0, in Merrimack Valley Conference play.

Joey Foley had three hits and three RBI, while Brody Lovell added three hits and three runs scored as East Bridgewater (4-1) defeated Sandwich 10-2 in the South Shore League.

Evan Ventura and Matt Doherty combined on a 1-hitter as Austin Prep defeated St. Sebastian’s 6-0 in the NEPSAC.

Tommy Gately drove in two runs for King Philip, marking the difference in a 4-2 Hockomock League win over Milford.

BOYS LACROSSE

Blake Masso had four goals while Cooper Masso added three goals as Bishop Feehan cruised to a 16-2 Catholic Central League victory over Arlington Catholic.

In the Mayflower Athletic Conference, Peyton Volz notched five goals and three assists as Southeastern walloped Westport 17-1. … Eamon Haley (three goals), Ben Tondorf (two goals, assist) and Todd Egan (two goals, three assists) each paced the South Shore Tech attack in a 9-8 win over Old Colony.

Kenny Wisniewsk (six goals, five assists), Will Levrault (six goals, two assists) and Jake Cusson (three goals, eight assists) led the offense as Apponequest bested nonleague opponent Middleboro 21-2. … Hunter Grafton’s five goals and five assists highlighted on offensive explosion for Abington, rolling to a 20-4 win over Braintree.

Sean Rivard distributed five assists and notched a goal himself, leading Peabody to a 9-8 win over Danvers in Northeastern Conference play.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Megan Doyle not only dialed up eight points to help Weymouth beat Franklin, 11-8, in nonleague play, but also scored her 300th career goal. … Abby Bradley poured in seven goals, while Cece Levrault and Jayleigh Howartheach added four goals, to power Apponequet in a 20-4 win over Middleboro.

In the Mayflower Athletic Conference,  Peyton Mathisen and Sofia Grasso each had hat tricks as South Shore Tech (7-0) rolled to a 13-4 win over Old Colony.

Libby Struzziero sniped the first two goals of her varsity career, helping to key Cohasset during a 19-0 victory over East Bridgewater in the South Shore League.

Caroline Batchelder erupted for four goals and seven assists, combining with Clare O’Keefe (five goals, five assists) and Avery Valicenti (six goals, three assists) to power Archbishop Williams over Cardinal Spellman, 22-12, in Catholic Central League play.

Addison Carbone netted five goals, Tyra Medina scored four goals with an assist, and Emma Finch and Aliya Coutu each had hat tricks for Greater Lowell as part of a 19-6 Commonwealth Athletic Conference win over Mystic Valley.

Ilex Fowler and CJ Tremblay each buried a pair of goals for Burlington as it edged Lexington, 8-7, in Middlesex League action.

With nine goals and three assists from Bailey Lowther, Nantucket rolled to a 17-6 Cape and Islands League win over Nauset.

SOFTBALL

Junior Emma Penniman finished with 12 strikeouts, completing an abbreviated four-inning shutout for Triton (3-2) during a 19-0 victory over Cape Ann League foe Rockport.

In a nonleague contest, Lindsay Stull recorded nine strikeouts on the mound, while Penny Saich (4-for-4, two RBI) carried things offensively as Norwell cruised to a 13-0 shutout of Quincy/North Quincy. … Ali McElligot (three hits) scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning and two more scored after her, helping Wilmington beat Masconomet, 6-3. …Kiley Hogan had three hits and five RBI to lead Tyngsboro past Westford Academy, 14-1.

Madison Nereu tossed five innings of no-hit ball, racking up 12 strikeouts as Wareham (1-1) defeated Avon in the Mayflower Athletic Conference, 22-2.

In the South Shore League, Elsie Testa fired a complete game, allowing just two earned runs on two hits while striking out 13 as Abington (7-0) remained perfect with a 12-3 win over Cohasset. … Taryn Clancy sat down 13 batters while allowing just one hit, setting the tone for Middleboro (5-1) in a 13-0 win over Rockland in a five-inning affair. … Maggie Schlossberg tossed a complete game with 13 strikeouts, passing 400 punchouts on her career as East Bridgewater beat Sandwich 12-0 over six innings.

Junior Sharlotte Stazinski pitched her first career perfect game, finishing with 13 strikeouts on just 49 pitches as Walpole rolled to a 10-0 shutout of Bay State Conference opponent Framingham.

In the Greater Boston League, junior Nevaeh Eth finished 3-for-3 with a home run to go with a triple and six runs batted in, as Lynn Classical (4-2) coasted to a 24-1 win over Chelsea.

In the South Coast Conference, Lauren Bernaiche went the distance with 10 Ks and Caleigh Venuti blasted a three-run homer as Apponequet (4-3) defeated Case 8-3.

Roma Braid’s two-run double and Aliza Crean Oviedo’s complete game (seven hits, five strikeouts) propelled St. Mary’s (2-2) to a 2-1 Catholic Central League win over Bishop Feehan, 2-1.

Soline Fisher stood out from the plate and the circle, backing up a 14-strikeout effort with a single and RBI as Arlington beat Lexington, 7-2, in Middlesex League play.

Avery Della Piana was unstoppable at the plate, racking up five hits to drive in five runs as Tewksbury toppled Methuen, 17-5, in the Merrimack Valley Conference.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Sai Nallajennugari posted 13 kills for Acton-Boxboro as part of a 3-0 nonleague win over Arlington. … Ayden Rogers touched down 15 kills along with two blocks, pairing with 10 kills from Monireach Kong and 31 assists from Khang Bui to lead Innovation Academy (5-2) past Pioneer Charter I, 3-0.

Larry Claudio dished 28 assists and Ruben Rodriguez notched 13 kills for Revere in a 3-0 Greater Boston League win over Somerville.

Ben Cleary’s 10 kills led BC High (6-2) in a 3-0 Catholic Conference win over Xaverian.

Behind 47 assists from Hunter Parent and 22 kills from Brady Kundel, Barnstable topped Taunton 3-1 in Southern Alliance play.
