GABRIELLA BRENSICK

ANDOVER

Bresnick, the Merrimack Valley Conference Senior Gymnast of the Year, was the state individual champion in the floor exercise and qualified for the New Englands in that event. The two-time MVC All-Around Champion is the school’s record holder in both the bars and the All-Around. The Level 10 gymnast and a member of the National Honor Society will attend Colby College where she will compete as a pole vaulter.

ELLA DEFEO

NORTON

The Tri-Valley League All-Star was league champion in the vault (9.75), beam (9.3) and floor (9.35), while taking a second in the All-Around (37.25). DeFeo was fifth in the state individual All-Around (37.05) and is a Level 10 Gymnast at Brestyan’s Gymnastics.

CAMRYN DONOVAN

DANVERS/LYNNFIELD

The state individual qualifier helped her team finish among the top three in the state in each of the past two seasons. A member of the National Honor Society, Donovan is a Level 10 gymnast at Yellow Jackets Gymnastics. Her long term collegiate goals are to major in business law or nursing while competing in gymnastics.

FALLON EBERHARDT

MASCONOMET

A Northeastern Conference All-Star, the junior was first in the league on the beam and second in the vault. She was also the state individual champion in the beam and runner-up in the vault. A member of the National Honor Society, Eberhardt trains in the offseason at Yellow Jackets.

ALLI GANLEY

WILMINGTON/BEDFORD

The senior standout captured the Middlesex League title in the vault and finished second in the All-Around. The school’s record-holder in the uneven bar (9.650) and All-Around (37.725), Ganley placed 10th in the All-Around at the State Individuals. The New England runner-up in the All-Around is a member of the National Honor Society. She will study kinesiology at UMass.

ABBY LEFEBVRE

KING PHILIP

The sophomore Hockomock League MVP and All-Around champion qualified for the New Englands in the All-Around. She recorded a career-best 37.4 in the All-Around against Mansfield. The high honors student is a second-year Level 9 Gymnast at O’Leary’s Gymnastics Center.

KENZIE MACKINAW

PEMBROKE/SILVER LAKE

The Senior Gymnast of the Year as well as Patriot League MVP qualified for the Senior Nationals as well as the State Individuals. A two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Mackinaw was undefeated in the All-Around during the regular season. The high honors student with a 4.5 GPA is looking to compete in gymnastics at college.

LEXIE MASTERS

WILMINGTON/BEDFORD

The sophomore played a large part in leading Wilmington/Bedford team to a fourth place finish at North Sectionals. At the State championships, Masters took a seventh in the All-Around, qualifying for the New Englands in the process for the second straight year. The two-time Middlesex League All-Star in gymnastics was a Dual County League All-Star in softball as a freshman at Bedford. A Level 9 gymnast at Nashoba Elite, Masters recently qualified for Level 9 Regional Championships.

MAEVE MCILROY

MARBLEHEAD/SWAMPSCOTT

The senior was third in the All-Around at the State Individuals and also qualified for both the New England and Senior Nationals. A four-time Northeastern Conference All-Star, McIlroy is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the French National Honor Society and Math National Honor Society. She will compete in gymnastics at Brown University.

KAITLYN MICALE

NORTH ANDOVER

The junior placed third in the All-Around (37.625) and fifth in both the bars (9.5) and beam (9.3) at the North Sectional Meet. A state individual qualifier, Micale scored a top-10 finish at the New Englands in the All-Around (36.75). A two-time Eastern National Qualifier and member of the National Honor Society, Micale is a Level 9 gymnast at Yellow Jackets Gymnastics.

BELLA MISIURA

MASCONOMET

The Northeastern Conference/Cape Ann League MVP capped her career in style, winning the All-Around, vault, beam and floor at the State Individuals. The three-time team and league MVP was the State Individual All-Around and bar champion in 2022. An excellent student with a 4.59 GPA, she will continue her gymnastics career at Penn State.

CARLI MORAN

BEVERLY

The freshman qualified in the All-Around in both the State and New England meets. The team MVP, Moran was the Northeastern Conference champion in the floor exercise. The 2023 USAG State and Eastern Qualifier is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. She is a USAG Level 9 Yellow Jackets Gymnast.

MAGGIE MURPHY

WESTFORD ACADEMY

The senior was named both the Dual County League as well as Massachusetts High School Gymnast of the Year. The runner-up in the State All-Around set new school record for bars (9.75), floor (9.725) and All-Around (38.75) to go along with vault and beam. A four-time DCL Gymnast of the Year, the high honors student will study criminal justice and compete in gymnastics at the University of Maryland.

HANNAH PENA

MEDFIELD/ASHLAND/DOVER-SHERBORN

The senior took a seventh in the All-Around at the South Sectional Meet (35.850) and finished in the top 10 at the State Championships (35.450). Pena’s individual bests for the season were 9.6 in the vault, 9.2 in the bars, 9.4 in the beam and 9.5 in the floor. A Level 10 Gymnast at MSGA, Pena is a honor roll student with 4.1 GPA and will attend Boston College, where she plans to major in biology with a minor in global public health.

AVA REDDING

MANSFIELD

A Hockomock League All-Star, the freshman played a large part in her team’s undefeated march to the league title as well as a South Sectional team title. Redding tied for fourth in the All-Around (35.925) in the South Sectionals and 11th at the State Championship (35.350). The honor roll student trains at O’Leary’s Gymnastics.

RILEY SALERNO

CENTRAL CATHOLIC

The senior took a sixth in the All-Around at the State Individual Meet helping her team captured the team title. Salerno captured the All-Around title at the New Englands a week later. The four-time all-Merrimack Valley Conference selection is a member of the National Honor Society and carries an impressive 4.4 GPA. A Level 10 Gymnast at Yellow Jackets Gymnastics, Salerno will attend University of South Carolina to study Exercise Science.

RYLAN SAVAS

NORTON

The freshman standout earned all-Tri-Valley League honors after she recorded a 36.825 average in the All-Around. A two-time team MVP, Savas was the South Sectional champion in the All-Around (37.45). She is a Level 9 Gymnast at O’Leary’s Gymnastics.

AVA SCHENCK-DAVIS

BURLINGTON

A Senior National High School Qualifier, Schenck-Davis tied for 11th at the North Sectionals in the All-Around (36.750). The Middlesex League All-Star and Level 10 gymnast is a three-time Women’s Development Program Nationals Qualifier and a member of the National Honor Society. She will compete in gymnastic and major in Human Ecology at Cornell in the fall.

CIARA THOMAS

BROCKTON/EAST BRIDGEWATER

A Cranberry League All-Star, the freshman took a second in the South Sectional All-Around (36.900) which allowed her team to qualify for the states for the first time. Thomas finished eighth in the All-Around (36.450) at the State Championships. She trains at Gymfinity Sports Academy in Stoughton.

SOPHIA TRESSLER

CENTRAL CATHOLIC

An all-Merrimack Valley Conference selection, the junior won the bars (9.650) at the State Individuals where she finished seventh in the All-Around (36.850). Tressler was 10th in the All-Around (36.750). At the State championship, she placed in the top five in every event to help Central Catholic take home the team title. The member of the National Honor Society has a 4.97 GPA.

KAYLEE WESCOTT

DANVERS/LYNNFIELD

A Northeastern Conference All-Star, the freshman broke a school-record in the All-Around with a score of 39.1. Wescott’s high scores on the season were 9.9 in the vault, 9.8 in the bars, 9.7 in the beam and 9.85 in the floor exercise. A high honors student with a 4.0 GPA, she is a Level 10 gymnast at Yellow Jackets Gymnastics.

ANDREW ZNOJ

MANSFIELD

The junior was part of a Mansfield team which won both the Hockomock League title and South sectional titles. Znoj won the vault and placed second in the floor exercise at the State Championships. A member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, Znoj carries a 4.1 GPA.
