Ex ‘Extra’ Host Tanika Ray Knew To Avoid Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

‘Extra’ alum Tanika Ray, who has collaborated with Sean Diddy Combs as a backup dancer, took to Instagram on March 27 to share her negative interaction with the rapper. Although 52-year-old Ray did not give much detail about what exactly happened, she said that her experiences led her to distance herself from the American rapper.

Notably, 54-year-old Diddy is a prominent rapper who has remained in the limelight of the media for multiple sexual assault allegations; however, the media mogul has denied all such claims and called them pure fiction.

Recently, on March 25, federal agents belonging to the US Homeland Security raided the rapper’s houses situated in Los Angeles and Miami. The search warrant led the HSI agents to enter the rapper’s home amid the sex trafficking claims.

Ray wrote of her experience with Diddy amid the ongoing controversies surrounding him. Alongside a video, she wrote a caption on Instagram, stating,

Ray posted a clip of former MSNBC host Touré, where he shared the interaction of one of his relatives with the media mogul. In an interview with Joy Reid, the host of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Touré talked about his bond with Sean Diddy Combs. He said,

I know this man well enough to call him and say, ‘Hey, I need a favor.’

This might have been 10 or 12 years ago that I called him and said, ‘Hey, I have a family member, who I want you to hire them as an intern.’ And he said, ‘Yes.’

However, that internship only lasted for a few months, and when Touré asked his relative the reason for this abrupt end, he didn’t get a reply.

Years later, they finally came out — and this is a male — and said that Puff had said, ‘Come home. Stay the night with me or the internship is over,’

Touré added.

After his relative denied the offer of the rap star, his internship ended.
