Red Sox lineup: Kutter Crawford to take the hill against Blue Jays
Kutter Crawford will make his second start of the spring Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays, as manager Alex Cora loads up the lineup with projected starters.
Jarren Duran will lead off in center field, Rafael Devers and Trevor Story will bat second and third, and Triston Casas will hit cleanup. Masataka Yoshida will bat fifth while serving as designated hitter, Tyler O’Neill will bat sixth while playing left field and Wilyer Abreu seventh as the right fielder.
Enmanuel Valdez, now the favorite to start the season as the Opening Day second baseman with Vaughn Grissom hurt, will start there and bat eighth, and catcher Roberto Perez will round things out while batting ninth.
In addition to Crawford, Brandon Walter, Lucas Luetge and Chase Shugart are scheduled to pitch out of the bullpen for Boston.
