Feds charge Massachusetts state troopers in alleged bribery fraud scheme
Federal officials have arrested 6, including a number of current and former Massachusetts State Police Troopers, in an alleged bribery fraud scheme to deliver “guaranteed” passing sores to certain commercial drivers license applicants.
The US Attorney’s office announced the charges, contained in a 74-count indictment, in a post on social media ahead of an 11 a.m. press conference.
The press conference, hosted by Acting US Attorney Joshua S. Levy’s office, is set to take place this morning at the Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston.
