Ukraine Full Year 2023: Market up 60.8%, Toyota and Renault in control

New car sales in Ukraine rally back up 60.8% year-on-year in 2023 to 60,862 units. Toyota (+47.5%) holds onto the brands pole position for the third consecutive year but sees its share fall from 18.3% to 16.8%. Renault (+45.7%) also loses share but stays in 2nd place above a very impressive Volkswagen (+147.4%) up two spots to #3. Skoda (+74.5%) falls to #4 despite beating the market, with BMW (+139.2%) up one rank to #5. Hyundai (+28.9%) and Mercedes (+52.4%) “underperform” in context whereas Suzuki (+192.2%) and Mazda (+237.1%) surge, the former up 5 spots to #8 and the latter up 7 to #9. Nissan (+74.9%) closes out the Top 10 in very solid fashion. Notice also Chinese fare Zeekr inside the Top 30 in October and December.
