Data by SMMT shows a Scottish market up 15.6% year-on-year in 2023 to 162,907 units. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation with the overall UK market covered in our UK Full Year 2023 update. The Vauxhall Corsa (-8.2%) goes against the positive market but easily manages to keep the top spot for the 4th consecutive year and the 13th time in the past 16 years. The Ford Puma (+21.2%), Vauxhall Mokka (+17.8%) and Nissan Qashqai (+28.1%) ensure the Top 4 models are unchanged on 2022. The Kia Sportage (+34.1%) is up four spots to #5 while the Nissan Juke (#6), VW T-Roc (#8), Hyundai Tucson (#9) and MG ZS (#10) enter the Top 10.
