Boston Police: Robbers ripped out Dorchester ATM with U-Haul truck
Boston Police are looking for a band of thieves they say ripped an ATM out of a Dorchester bank using a U-Haul rental truck.
Officers responded to a 5:53 a.m. call for a robbery in progress at the bank at Talbot and Southern avenues, according to Boston PD Officer Michael Torigian. While a mess remained at the scene, the suspects were gone.
The FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force was notified, Torigian said. There have been no arrests made in the ongoing investigation.
A police report, which would have more details, was not yet completed by 11:15 a.m.
This is a developing story.
