Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was placed on injured reserve last week with a torn ACL, and another starter, DeVante Parker, missed Sunday’s loss to the Commanders with a concussion. Tyquan Thornton popped up on the injury report before the game with a foot ailment.
Luther joins Malik Cunningham as the only wide receivers on the Patriots’ practice squad. The team also has JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jalen Reagor and rookies Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte on their 53-man roster.
Boutte was a healthy scratch in Sunday’s loss.
