Red Sox lineups: Devers, O’Neill targeting Tuesday return
Still no Rafael Devers or Tyler O’Neill in the Red Sox lineup for Game 2 in Pittsburgh, but Alex Cora is hoping both sluggers will be ready to return on Tuesday in Cleveland.
Instead, the Red Sox are going with a nearly-identical lineup to Friday night, when they clubbed four home runs in an 8-1 series opener victory. The lone change is Reese McGuire catching and batting eighth; Connor Wong was behind the dish in the series opener.
Kutter Crawford will make his fifth start. The right-hander owns a 0.42 ERA on the season, and is the only pitcher in franchise history to allow no more than one run and three or fewer hits in each of their first starts of the season.
