Despite 22 points from Megan Doyle, No. 7 Weymouth (20-5) fell to second-seeded Wachusett 67-44 in a Div. 1 quarterfinal.

Boys basketball

No. 6 Medfield fell to third-seeded Pittsfield 76-65 in a Div. 3 state quarterfinal. Pete Kumar led the way for Medfield (18-5) with 23 points, followed by Luke Lisciandra (17) and Rowan Tracey (13).
