GIRLS BASKETBALL

Erica Hills scored 25 points, leading Dover-Sherborn (8-2) to a 46-28 Tri-Valley League win over Westwood. … Sophomore Jamie Quinn led with 20 points as Dedham defeated Ashland 55-40.

In the Merrimack Valley Conference, Emily Picher had 18 points as Tewksbury cruised to a 44-21 victory over Lowell.

Ally Johnson netted a career-high 23 points as Blue Hills (7-2) rolled to a 51-27 win over Bristol-Plymouth in Mayflower Athletic Conference action.

In nonleague play, junior Maddy Steel Bishop Feehan (7-2) with a career-high 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting from three while collecting seven rebounds and five assists in a 75-29 victory over Norwood. Senior captain Julia Webster finished with 21 points and nine boards for the Shamrocks. … Ava Orlando poured in 25 points as Notre Dame of Hingham defeated Braintree 57-43.

Shannon Patrick had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds as Acton-Boxboro (8-1) took down Dual County League opponent Wayland 61-47.

BOYS HOCKEY

Paul Dzavik scored a pair of goals and Travis Rugg added a score with two assists, powering Hingham (7-4-1) in a 7-1 nonleague win over Central Catholic. … Chase Darcey dialed up another hat trick, propelling Shawsheen to a 7-1 win over previously unbeaten Methuen for the Rams’ 10th straight victory.

Nick D’Olympio scored all three of his goals in the third period, leading a charged frame from Catholic Memorial (6-3-2) to beat BC High, 4-1, in Catholic Conference action.

Behind two goals and two assists from both Ben Paterson and Logan Marchand, Franklin cruised to an 8-0 Hockomock League win over Oliver Ames.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Finn Bjork’s 14-point, 17-rebound double-double fueled a well-balanced scoring effort from Somerset Berkley (7-1), rolling past South Coast Conference foe Dighton-Rehoboth, 75-55.

Lorenzo Carrara erupted for 21 points and JJ Honekamp added 19 points for Xaverian, holding off Malden Catholic 62-60 in Catholic Conference play.

In the Mayflower Athletic Conference, freshman Patrick Jackson dropped 31 points as South Shore Voke (2-8) took down Bristol Aggie 65-37.

Louis Ledesma scored 25 points and Pierre Veras posted a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) to help Lynn English (9-2) defeat Somerville, 76-52, in Greater Boston League play.
