Boys basketball

Josiah Adamson erupted for 39 points, and Jake Cofield finished with 13 points and six blocks as Catholic Memorial topped St. John’s Prep 83-57 in the Catholic Conference.

Chase Hartsell (23 points), John Brigham (21 points) and Sam Hughes (15 points) fueled Dexter Southfield in a 68-59 NEPSAC win over Phillips Andover. … Jay Jones (24 points, four rebounds), Andrew Alekseyenko (20 points, 11 rebounds), Ryan Altman (15 points, six rebounds) and Amir Lindsey (12 points, six rebounds) paced things offensively for Rivers (12-1) in a 71-60 win over St. Mark’s.

In the Tri-Valley League, Luke Lisciandra netted 17 points and Pete Kumar added 15 as Medfield (7-2) cruised to a 63-28 victory over Bellingham. … Matt Parlon (24 points) and Reuben Simon (12 points) set the tone for Medway (5-5) in a 62-54 win over Holliston.

In the Hockomock League, Troy Santos led the way with 26 points and six assists and Kenny Jeanmichel had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds as Taunton took down Stoughton 76-71. … Davon Sanders (19 points, six rebounds, six assists), Trevor Foley (15 points) and Riley Sigman (10 points) guided Mansfield (7-2) in a 62-61 win over Milford.

Jason Kamau (19 points, seven steals), Tzar Powell Aparicio (16 points, seven rebounds), Juan Beltres Diaz (12 points) and Eric Mukibbi (eight points) steered Lowell (9-2) during a 79-39 Merrimack Valley Conference win over Dracut.

Aiden Flaherty (17 points), Dylan Kaplinger (15 points), Aidan Toomey (15 points, six steals) and Jared Cleary (eight points) shouldered the bulk of the scoring for East Bridgewater (7-4) in a 68-53 South Shore League victory over Mashpee.

Girls basketball

Sadie Cummings and Naya Annigeri had 14 points each, while Annie Stanton (12 points) and Mary Palladino (10 points) finished in double figures also as Medfield (9-1) rolled to a 79-34 Tri-Valley League win over Bellingham.

Kerri Finneran (13 points) and Abbey Dick (11 points) were the leading scorers, while Addison Beers supplied six assists as Central Catholic (8-3) coasted to a 62-22 Merrimack Valley Conference victory over Haverhill. … Kaylee Maier (15 points) , Lamees Alasaad (14 points), and Julia Graham (10 points) helped lift Dracut to its first win of the season, a 54-43 victory over Lowell.
