No, it wasn’t just your TV going crazy, and you weren’t suddenly tripping on LSD.

Some Bruins fans who spend more than $300 a year to watch their team on NESN were wondering what in the world was happening on their TV screen during some of the last game.

The Bruins game feed on Monday showed way more players than were actually on the ice, and the upper-left corner scoreboard multiplied so another scoreboard was floating across the screen. Viewers also reported sound issues, half of their TV going green, and lines and shadows all across their screen.

Some wondered if it was just their TV going loco during the second period against the New Jersey Devils.

“Anyone else getting the psychedelic NESN Bruins broadcast right now?” posted Jon Wallach of 98.5 The Sports Hub, which is what some fans turned on to hear the game because of the broadcast issues.

“This can’t be only happening to me, right? What the hell is going on with @NESN? Or, is my TV possessed?!” wrote Nick Cattles of The Nick Cattles Show.

“Today’s Bruins broadcast has officially entered the Thunderdome,” posted WBZ CBS Boston’s Michael Hurley.

“I’m sorry but that has GOTTA be too many men on the dang ice,” Hurley added.

“NESN new picture in picture in picture feature is so electric,” the parody account Petrov McGuire posted. “There’s 100 guys on the ice!”

The network ended up finding a problem with a tech platform.

“We discovered an issue with a tech platform that we integrate into our broadcast, which was impacting the viewing experience,” a NESN spokesperson said in a statement. “We immediately bypassed the faulty systems to prioritize our viewers and their ability to watch the Bruins.

“As always, our goal is to provide the best quality broadcast for our fans,” the NESN spokesperson added. “When issues like this arise, we have staff on call to resolve and address them immediately. We appreciate our fans alerting us and their understanding.”

A Bruins spokesperson deferred to NESN for any comment on the issue.

Some fans pay $29.99 a month for NESN 360, or annually for $329.99. Others who have NESN as part of their TV package already have access to NESN 360 at no additional cost.
