Classic Nostalgia 2026 is nearly here, and anticipation continues to grow. On 18–19 July, the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb will once again welcome thousands of enthusiasts. As a result, the venue will host one of Britain’s finest celebrations of historic motorsport.

This year’s programme blends legendary racing cars, famous drivers and unforgettable demonstrations with family entertainment, concours displays and club gatherings. Whether your passion lies in Formula One, rallying, Can-Am monsters or classic touring cars, there is plenty to discover throughout the weekend.

A Spectacular Line-up Across Five Decades of Racing

Classic Nostalgia has earned a reputation for bringing together remarkable competition machinery. This year, the 2026 edition raises the bar once again, with an even more impressive line-up.

In addition, visitors will see everything from Formula One legends and Formula 5000 racers to World Rally Championship heroes and thunderous NASCAR machines. Every run up the famous Shelsley Walsh course offers something different, making the event rewarding for both first-time visitors and regular attendees.

Can-Am and Formula 5000 Celebrate Motorsport’s Golden Era

Power and spectacle remain central to Classic Nostalgia.

The event marks 60 years of the Can-Am championship, with the spectacular Lola T160 leading the celebrations. Equally impressive is Roy Lane’s McLaren M10B Formula 5000, one of the standout cars from a remarkable era of unrestricted racing.

Moreover, these machines continue to captivate audiences with their bold engineering, dramatic styling and unforgettable sound.

Richard Burns Tribute Headlines Rally Celebrations

Rally fans have plenty to look forward to. In particular, the popular Ralli22 display returns with an outstanding collection of Group B, Group A and World Rally Championship cars climbing the famous Shelsley course.

A major feature of the weekend honours 25 years since Richard Burns and Robert Reid secured the 2001 FIA World Rally Championship.

Meanwhile, taking pride of place will be the legendary X20 SRT Subaru Impreza WRC, the very car that carried the British pairing to World Championship success.

A special startline reunion with former Prodrive team members

Family and friends celebrating Burns’ remarkable career

Exclusive question-and-answer sessions with those involved in the championship-winning campaign

Meanwhile, visitors can enter a daily charity raffle for the opportunity to enjoy a passenger ride in the Safari Rally-winning Subaru Impreza alongside David Lapworth, with proceeds supporting the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

New Historic Racing News Live Stage Makes Its Debut

One of the biggest additions for Classic Nostalgia 2026 is the Historic Racing News Live Stage. Better still, included with standard admission, the stage will host interviews, autograph sessions and appearances from respected names across several racing disciplines.
