Brown and practice-squad receiver TJ Luther were the only players absent. Brown has been dealing with flu-like symptoms, according to coach Bill Belichick. Brown missed last weekend’s loss at Buffalo, when he was removed from the team’s final injury report and later ruled a healthy scratch.
Veteran backup Vederian Lowe is slated to start in Brown’s place for a second straight week. Lowe also played significant snaps in the team’s win at Denver three weeks ago, when he rotated with Brown.
The Patriots will release their final injury report Friday evening.
