Volvo, hands down, is the best and most significant brand in Grasso’s Garage. As that’s no secret to my fan-favorite readers, it’s because of their effortless ways of chart-topping the big three: Luxury, comfort and price. Volvo, since 2017, has been a chart-topper due to their exclusive re-design, powertrain efficiency, and great styling that keeps them at the top of the luxury list.

In competition with brands like Genesis and Audi, the S90 is similarly designed and sized to the G90 and A8. As a Volvo XC60 owner myself, the S90 is a great large sedan that is exceptionally comfortable, powerful and has all of the safety bells and whistles that anyone can ask for, similar to their entire fleet.

Powered by a Volvo proven, 2.0L turbo-charged 4-cylinder engine, with electric motors and paired with a 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission, this combination produces 455 horsepower and 523 lb-ft of torque and is ultra-smooth, quickly accelerating and very quiet for both the driver and passengers. Warrantied with 4 year/50,000 mile limited warranty coverage, while Volvo On-Call roadside assistance is also included. Complimentary factory scheduled maintenance is also included for 3 years or 36,000 miles; WIN!

On the interior, the 12.3 inch progressive digital drive display and a 9-inch iPad shaped integrated touchscreen infotainment system paired with Google Assistant and Google Play Store that is easy to use and adapt for all ages. Very comfortable seating, visual site lines and Lounge package that was added for $1,500 including rear armrest luxury and rear ventilated seats and front massaging seats.

As mentioned, Volvo is hands down, easily the best brand, and the flagship S90 is no different; It is the priced-right, classy way to ride or drive. When it comes to recommendations, I am an open book and hold no bars from my opinion. My best friend Jon has driven a Volvo most recently and his favorite hands down is his current vehicle, the S90.
