High school roundup/scores: Chelmsford boys top Andover, swim to MVC title

Chelmsford captured the Merrimack Valley Conference regular season boys swimming title with a 100-80 victory over Andover. Chelmsford (9-2 overall) finished a perfect 6-0 in the MVC to grab the title. Sophomore Finn Hughes captured the 50 free and 500 free to spark the victory.

Boys basketball

Riley Pease scored 13 points, Kingston Maxwell and Tyler Staiti added 11 each in Abington’s 53-48 South Shore League victory over Norwell. … Jake Fortier led scorers with 25 points while Rolky Brea-Arias scored 23 points and added 19 rebounds in St. Mary’s 74-35 Catholic Central League win over Cathedral.

Tyler Anderson paced Blue Hills with 19 points in a 71-42 Mayflower League victory over Upper Cape Tech. … Josh Reidy scored 34 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter to lead Dighton-Rehoboth to a 65-64 South Coast Conference win over Old Rochester.

Fope Ayo recorded a double-double with 27 points and 15 rebounds in Austin Prep’s 50-44 win over Buckingham Browne & Nichols.

Naya Annigeri scored 21 points, Tess Baacke added 10 points in Medfield’s 74-25 Tri-Valley League crossover victory. … Kallie Martin led with 14 points, Brooklyn Murray scored 11 in Andover’s 62-27 win over Tewksbury. … Alaysia Drummonds scored 15 points, Rhianna Rice added 11 rebounds in Foxboro’s 50-38 Hockomock League victory over North Attleboro.
