Brian Walshe pleads guilty to charges before jury selection in murder trial
Walshe is accused of killing and dismembering his wife, Ana, in January 2023. Walshe pleaded guilty to lying to police and illegally disposing of his wife’s body last month, but he denies killing her.

9:54 a.m. He also testified that Ana and Brian had once argued over purchases Brian made for his sports memorabilia company.
9:51 a.m. He also said that Ana and Brian got into an argument after Ana missed Christmas Day with her family. Her flight home had been canceled after spending Christmas Even with Fastow.
9:36 a.m. Fastow has testified to starting an affair with Ana shortly after she moved to D.C. He also described how sad it made her to be living apart from her children, who had to say in Massachusetts because Brian Walshe’s home confinement was predicated on his being the primary caretaker.
9:25 a.m. The Commonwealth has called William Fastow, Ana’s lover, to the stand.
9:23 a.m. The jury is back in the courtroom.
9:11 a.m. Judge Freniere will wait to sentence Brian Walshe on the charges he plead guilty to last month until there is a verdict in for the first degree murder charge.
9:06 a.m. Court is back in session this morning.
