Keys for the Vikings
— Just because veteran quarterback Carson Wentz looked comfortable in his first start for the Vikings last weekend doesn’t mean head coach Kevin O’Connell should feel pressure to unleash him this weekend. The recipe for success will still be leaning on running back Jordan Mason and leaving it up to the defense to make splash plays. That shouldn’t be much of an issue against the Steelers, who haven’t been nearly as impressive as their record might suggest.
Keys for the Steelers
— The best chance the Steelers have of walking away with a win is hoping everything clicks for future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. It’s been a slow build for Rodgers, and while there’s a good chance that this is simply who he is at this point in his career, perhaps there is another level yet to be unlocked. There’s no doubt that Rodgers will be blitzed this weekend; if he can make the Vikings pay when they send the house, the Steelers will have an opportunity to pull off the upset.
